A New Look
I thought I'd give my dear LAPOE blog a face lift. Something that says "I'm still connected to the website" (lapoebags.info)but yet still says "I like my freedom." Feel free to give feedback, I'm open.
I have a bunch of new (or rather used) purses to put up on the website so be sure to check back for updates. I really thought I'd be able to get it done this weekend, but as it turned out getting through the weekend felt more like running a marathon. I crossed the finish line. That's what counts!
I would like to also remind you that there are six more days for "Fashion Like Poetry" where you tell me how literally, fashion is like poetry, and I say, you know what that's a really hot answer and then you say, really, because I just came up with that off the cuff, and then I say, wow you're pretty clever, in fact, here's a copy of A Crime And A Simplification Of Something Sublime - hot off the press and then you say Thanks I can't wait to read it I bet it's really good and then I say, it is.

She Stalks ... Poetry
This is another reminder about the "Fashion Like Poetry" contest going on, where all we are asking for is a brief comment to describe how you feel fashion is like poetry for a chance to win an autographed copy of a volume of nuler poetry by Kobina Wright and LB Lacey, titled, "A Crime And A Simplification Of Something Sublime."
This time, I've included a video so that you can get a sneak peek into what nuler poetry sounds like.
Enjoy and good luck!

Fashion Like Poetry
LAPOE, in addition to the Monthly Motto contest, has decided to throw in another contest during the month of March. It’s called, “Fashion Like Poetry,” and to enter, all you have to do is one little thing – post a comment in this section explaining how fashion is like poetry, and you will be entered to win a signed copy of the book titled, A Crime And A Simplification Of Something Sublime by Kobina Wright and LB Lacey.
More About The Book
A Crime And A Simplification of Something Sublime is the first volume that introduces the nuler style, which pours out an overwhelmingly expansive title sequence followed by an extremely short and pithy poem that bends from the tone of the title to an opposing inflection. It is the third collaborative project for Wright and Lacey.
Remember…
All you have to do is place a comment here explaining how fashion is like poetry, and you’ll be entered.
Deadline: March 13, 2009
Good luck!
